According to market research firm Counterpoint Research, global computer market shipments reached 65.3 million units in the third quarter of 2024, a year-on-year increase of 1%, continuing the growth momentum since the beginning of the year. The growth in shipments was mainly driven by user replacement demand before Windows 10 security updates and technical support end in 2025, as well as a significant increase in AIPC (artificial intelligence personal computer) sales.
